Henry 5.56 Long Ranger fitted with Matthew's Fabrication X2 Cheek Riser, USGI Canvas loop sling, and Leupold 1.5-4 VX-Freedom rifle scope. Appleseed AQT ready.
To improve my chances of recreating the 5 in 5" at 500, I'm going to use the Remington Premium Gold Medal with a 77gr Sierra MatchKing bullet. I'm going to deviate from my normal use of the Leupold VX-Freedom Ping-Plex reticle in favor of a calculated trajectory that will line up better with the Leupold's BDC stadia. 400 yards at bottom of the pig plex circle with 500, 600, and 700 matching the next aiming points.

While I have not personally tested the Maven RF1 rangefinder, I do like that it is made in the Phillippines rather than the PRC. It looks like premium quality from a Lander, WY optics manufacturer.
